Sometimes I wish that I had true grit. Mattie Ross is completely driven and absolutely determined to get what she wants. She stands up to John Wayne... uhm, AWESOME! Imagine what life would feel like - what we could accomplish - if we had the gumption that she did!!! Oh, the possibilities! I want to have true grit for my life. PURE DETERMINATION. And standing up to the John Wayne in my life: percieved limitations & insecurities. I want to live by the law of true grit. Even in our pursuits of God. Let not small setbacks seperate us from our beautiful Savior. In our scholastic endevours; let not one F destroy your dreams of success. In all things in your life have TRUE GRIT!!!
